WiththeintroductionofCII,vesselswillberatedfromA(best)toE(worst).Thisratingcanhaveadirecteffecton thevessel’scommercialvalue,intermsoffuelefficiency,chartervalue,insurancecost,portfees,anddepreciation. VesselsratedDforthreeconsecutiveyearsorvesselsratedEwillhavetomakeaplantoimprovetheirrating. IfyourvesselrequiresmodificationstomeetEEXIstandards,itisadvisabletousethisasanopportunitytoinvest insolutionsthatcontributetowardsanoptimalCIIrating.Ourexpertscanhelpyoutounderstandwhatispossible andthebenefitsitcanbringtoyourbusinessoverthelongerterm. Assessmentreports MANPrimeServcanhelpyoucreateanEEXIassessmentreport,nomatterwhetherornotyouuseaMANengine,basedoninformationyouprovideaboutyourvessel. DependingonthecalculatedEEXI,theassessmentreportwillsuggesthowyoushouldproceed.PossibleoutcomesofthereportincludeanEEXItechnicalfile,MANOverridablePowerLimitationandotherretrofitsolutionsrequiredtomeetthenecessarystandards.Ifyoupurchaseoneormoreoftheseupgrades,yourassessmentreportwillbefreeofcharge.Furthermore,itwillbepossibleforyoutobuyanEEXIenginestudy,whichoffersamorecomprehensiveengine-specificreportonthepossibleretrofitsolution.TheEEXIassessmentreportwillalsoincludeproposedMANEnergySolutionsproductsforimprovingthefuelconsumptionoftheengineandtherebycontributingtoimprovingtheCII,andpre-inspectionformulasforvalidatingtheapplicabilityofthesuggestedsolution(s).
