Watershouldbepouredovertheheadthreetimessothatitflowsalloverthebody,ensuringthattherootsofhairsandpartsnoteasilyreachedbywatersuchasthebackofthekneesarewashedthoroughly.[10] Pourwateroverbothshouldersthreetimeseach(startingfromtherightshoulder).Handsshouldbepassedalloverthebodywhenwaterispouredsothatnopartofthebodyisleftdry. Eachpartshouldbewashedthoroughlyinsuchawaythatthewaterreachestheskin.Specialcareshouldbetakenwhilewashingthehead;thehairshouldbecombed(e.g.,withyourfingers)sothatwaterreachesthehair-roots.Whilewashingtherightsideofthebody,somepartoftheleftsidemustbewashedtoo,andviceversa.[16] Ghuslirtimasi[edit] "Ghuslirtimasi"meansabathinvolvingimmersionofthewholebodyinthewater.Itcanonlybedoneinabodyofwater,e.g.,apool,river,lakeorsea.Afterwashingawaythesemenorbloodfromthebodyandafterniyyat,thewholebodyshouldbecompletelyimmersedinthewaterallatonce,notgradually.Onehastomakesurethatthewaterreachesallpartsofthebody,includinghairandtheskinunderit.
