LocationandLivingPaychecktoPaycheck Consumersinurbanareasarebothmorelikelytoearnmorethan$100,000ayearandlivepaychecktopaycheck.Thisseemstocorrelatewiththerelativelyyoungerdemographicofurbandwellers. Regardlessofannualincome,consumerslivinginurban,suburbanandruralareasintheU.S.exhibitdifferentfinanciallifestylepatterns.Forty-ninepercentofsurveyrespondentsresidedinsuburbanareas,withapproximatelyone-quartereachlivinginurban(26percent)andrural(25percent)areas,yetPYMNTS'researchfindsthat67percentofconsumerslivinginurbanareasand68percentofconsumerslivinginruralareasaremorelikelytolivepaychecktopaycheck.
