Whenchoosinghowtosave,theaverageconsumerhashalfoftheiravailablesavingsstoredinabankordigitalwalletsuchasPayPalorVenmo.Theaverageconsumeralsokeeps11%oftheirsavingsineitherstocksorbonds,and20%ineducationorretirementaccounts.Meanwhile,consumersinthehighestincomebracketallocateanaverageof58%oftheirsavingstoassetsotherthancashorfundsinafinancialinstitution.Consumersearningmorethan$200,000peryearinvested28%oftheiravailablesavingsinstocksandbonds,whileconsumersearningbetween$100,000and$200,000invested14%oftheiravailablesavingsinstocksandbonds.
