KEYWORKERS EachfamilyhasaKeyWorker,whoistheirmaincontactregardingtheirchild’sindividualESDMprogram.OurKeyWorkersareexperiencedalliedhealthprofessionalswhoarecertifiedintheESDM. YourKeyWorkermeetswithyoueachtermtoassessyourchild’sprogressandcollaborativelyestablishanewsetofgoalsbasedonourchild’sdevelopinginterests,understanding,communication,wellbeing,socialskillsandyourpriorities.YourKeyWorkerwillalsomonitoryourchild’sprogressandsharethisinformationwithyou,othermembersoftheteam,andcoordinatereferralstootherAlliedHealthspecialists. TRAININGANDCERTIFiCATIONINTHEESDM TousetheESDMasanintervention,eachtherapisthastobecertified.Thismeansthatthey: CompletetheOnlineIntroductoryWorkshop. Completethe3dayAdvancedTrainingWorkshop. Submitassessments,goalsandobjectives,teachingstepsandvideostoacertifiedESDMTrainer. Oncethetherapisthassubmittedtherequirednumberofvideosandpassedthefidelityscores,thentheycanbecertifiedinthemodel.
