Basicrequirements TobeeligibleforanR.O.C.(Taiwan)TravelAuthorizationCertificatefromtheNationalImmigrationAgency,MinistryoftheInterior,thefollowingthreebasicrequirementsmustbemet: Theapplicant'spassportmusthaveremainingvalidityofatleastsixmonthsstartingfromthedateofarrivalinTaiwan. Theapplicantmustpossessanonward/returnairorferryticket. Theapplicanthasneverbeenemployedasablue-collarworkerinTaiwan. Additionalrequirements  Inadditiontotheaforementionedbasicrequirements,oneofthefollowingrequirementsmustalsobemet: TheapplicantpossessesatleastoneofthefollowingdocumentsissuedbyAustralia,Canada,Japan,Korea,NewZealand,anyoftheEUandSchengencountries,theUnitedKingdom,ortheUnitedStates: Validresidentorpermanentresidentcard Validentryvisa(maybeelectronicvisa) Residentcardorvisathathasexpiredlessthan10yearspriortothedateofarrivalinTaiwan ApplicantswhouseanelectronicvisaissuedbyAustraliaorNewZealandastherequireddocumentmustpresentthevalidAustraliaorNewZealandelectronicvisaasenteringTaiwan. ApplicantswhouseavisaissuedbyJapanastherequireddocumentmustpresenttheproofrecordofenteringJapanoraconfirmedonwardtickettoJapanwhenenteringTaiwan. TheapplicantpossessesanentryvisaorresidentcardissuedbytheROCatanypointinthepast10yearsandhasnorecordofimmigrationirregularitiesorlawviolationsinTaiwan.However,holdersofROCentryvisasbearingtheremarkFL(migrantworker),X(others),orPwith“SpecialpermissionfromMOFA”(visaandeVisafor“ProjectforSimplifyingVisaRegulationsforHigh-endGroupTouristsfromSoutheastAsianCountries(ProjectKuan-Hong)”everissued),aswellasholdersofROCresidentcardswithstatedpurposeofresidencebeingforeignlaborer(移工),arenoteligibleforanR.O.C.(Taiwan)TravelAuthorizationCertificatefromtheNationalImmigrationAgency,MinistryoftheInterior. Notes Anapproved R.O.C.(Taiwan)TravelAuthorizationCertificatefromtheNationalImmigrationAgency,MinistryoftheInteriorisvalidfor90days.Multipleentrieswithinthese90daysareallowed.Theholderofan R.O.C.(Taiwan)TravelAuthorizationCertificatefromtheNationalImmigrationAgency,MinistryoftheInteriormaystayinTaiwanfor14days,startingfromthedayafterarrival.IftheholderwishestoapplyforanotherR.O.C.(Taiwan)TravelAuthorizationCertificatefromtheNationalImmigrationAgency,MinistryoftheInterior,heorshemustdososevendayspriortotheexpiryofthecurrentcertificate.  Ifanymistakeismadeduringtheonlineapplicationprocess,theapplicantmaysubmitanewapplication. Onlineapplicationscanonlybemadebypersonsholdingvalidregularpassports.Personsholdingtemporary,emergency,orinformalpassports,ortraveldocumentsotherthanapassport,cannotsubmitonlineapplications.  Thevisasintheaforementionedlistofrequireddocumentsdonotincludeworkpermits. HoldersofaforementionedvisasbearingsuchstampsasVOID,CANCELLED,orCANCELLEDWITHOUTPREJUDICEarenoteligibleforanR.O.C.(Taiwan)TravelAuthorizationCertificatefromtheNationalImmigrationAgency,MinistryoftheInterior. Withregardtoresidentcardsorvisasthathaveexpiredlessthan10yearsago,thismeansthatthetimebetweentheexpirydateoftheresidentcardorvisaandthedateofarrivalinTaiwanmaynotbelongerthan10years.Ifnoexpirydateorvalidityperiodisgivenontheresidentcardorvisa,the10-yearperiodreferstothetimebetweentheresidentcardorvisa’sissuingdateandthedateofarrivalinTaiwan. Applicantswhoholdpermanentresidentcardswithnoexpirydatemayenter9999foryear,12formonthand31fordayintheDatefield. Oncetheapplicationhasbeenapproved,theapplicantshouldprintouttheR.O.C.(Taiwan)TravelAuthorizationCertificatefromtheNationalImmigrationAgency,MinistryoftheInterior.TheapplicantmustpresentthecertificateandtherequireddocumentsforinspectionwhenenteringTaiwan.Entrywillbedeniediftherequireddocumentsarenotproduced. NationalsofIndonesiawhopossessavalidJapanVisaWaiverRegistrationareeligibleforanR.O.C.(Taiwan)TravelAuthorizationCertificatefromtheNationalImmigrationAgency,MinistryoftheInterior.
