Hello I just updated my FP3 to android10. ... Don't format you sd card as internal storage except if you are sure of the implications! Igota128GBSDCard,inserteditandchoosetouseitasanextrainternalstorage.AfterformattingIgotaskedifIwanttotransferfilestofreeupspaceonthe“real”internalstoragewhichIaccepted.Andrestartedthephoneafterwards. Nowtheproblembegins, aftertherestart,asystempopuptellsmethatthesdcardismissing.Butinthestoragesettingitshowsme,thatthecardisinsertedandthatIgottonsoffreespace.Problemstillthereafteracouplerestarts.ItriedputtingitoutandinseveraltimesphysicallyaswellasintheStoragesettings.Nothingchanges. AnnaTreurniet October14,2020,6:19pm #8 MymotherinlawhasthesameproblemaftertheFF3update.Wetriedtoreinsertthesdcard,butnothinghappened… magoo October16,2020,8:21am #9 Dearcommunity, asthenewFP3+Android10versiondidnotinanywaywarnabouttheproblemswithusingaSDcardasinternalmemory(asopposedtomobilememory)–seealltheproblemslistedinthisforum(andIhadafewmore)–IhadtocompletelyrestartmyFP3fromscratch(reset,reinstallallappsandconfigurations).IdidthiswithouttheSDcardinserted.Onlywhenthephonefunctionedcorrectlyinallrespects(itdid!),IreinsertedtheSDcardandletitreformatasexternal/mobile.Workedwell.Nowthemusicfiles,fotosanddocumentshavebeenmanuallymovedtotheSDcardandthecommunicationbetweentheFP3+andtheSCcardisasitshouldbe. OurunderstandingherewasthatGooglehadremovedtheeasyGUIaccesstothefeatureinAOSP,andwithreason,becauseusinganSDcardasInternalstoragewasnevereveragoodideatechnically. NowwithAndroid10theeasyaccesstothefeatureseemstobeback,andithascausedsomegriefforseveralusersalready.
