有网友特别分享了当年周杰伦在接受《人物周刊》专访的截图，周杰伦当时表示《稻香》是为了汶川地震而创作的。

Advertisement 周杰伦表示那个时候从电视上看到很多人正值抢救生命的紧急关头，也有很多人拼了命想活下去。

此外，周杰伦也受到李连杰的启发,那时李连杰也有对周杰伦说：“不如给现在的年轻人一些教育，现在患上抑郁症自杀的人非常多，应该写一首正能量的歌曲。

”除了为了地震，当时的周杰伦还观察到社会经济不景气，许多上班族面临裁员的困境，这促使他决定创作一首带有正能量的歌曲。

《稻香》由周杰伦作词、作曲，黄雨勋编曲，这首歌收录在周杰伦2008年10月15日发行的专辑《魔杰座》中。

值得一提的是，这首歌也获得多项大奖，其中包括第20届台湾金曲奖最佳年度歌曲奖。
