研究者自原出版公司(Pro–ed)取得版權後即開始著手進行中文版之修訂，中文版之測驗在A、B兩式各增加了八題較簡易之題目，使成為各有63題之「托尼非語文智力測驗甲式」及「托尼非語文智力測驗乙式」，在經過525個樣本的預試後，即以隨機取樣方式抽取4至18歲代表性樣本甲式及乙式分別為4,313人及4,292人，建立四至十八歲的百分等級及離差智商常模。

間隔兩週在國小及國中所作的前後測所得之重測信度係數.55及.88，複本信度係數分別為.682及.787，內部一致性係數在.748與.925之間，尚稱理想，本測驗之效度亦可接受：與SPM之間的關聯係數在.402至.761之間，與學業之問的關聯係數在.261至.800之間，與年齡之間亦呈明顯之正相關。

英文摘要 TheTestofNonverbalIntelligence(TONI)wasfirstdevelopedbyLindaBrown,RitaJ,Sherbenou,andSusanK.Johnsenin1982andrevisedin1990(TONI-2).TheTONI-2,comprisedof55figureidentificationitemsinbothAandBforms,istoassessgeneralreasoningandproblem-solvingabilitiesofsubjectsbetween5to85yearsofage.
