Nearly70yearsafterherrebirthinTaiwan,SoochowUniversityisnowafullyaccrediteduniversitywithtwocampuses;theWaishuanghsicampus,andDowntowncampus.Asoneofthemostprestigiouscomprehensiveprivateuniversitiesontheisland,Soochowiscompletewithsixcolleges(theSchoolofLiberalArts&SocialSciences,theSchoolofForeignLanguagesandCultures,theSchoolofScience,theSchoolofLaw,theSchoolofBusiness,andtheSchoolofBigDataManagement),offering24majors,24Master’s,andsixDoctoralPrograms.Thestudentpopulationhasexceeded15,000. Incarryingoutoureducationprograms,weadheresteadfastlytothebesttraditionsandtheschool’smotto"UntoaFullGrownMan".Asaresultoftheunbendingprinciplesfromtheboard,efficientmanagementinschooloperation,andcomprehensivefoundationprograms,theschoolhasreceivedthe"TeachingExcellenceAward”fromtheMinistryofEducationforthirteenconsecutiveyears.Beginning2018theMinistryhasalsograntedSoochowthe"HigherEducationSproutProject"subsidiestoimprovetheteachingandlearningmechanismtobettercopewiththedemandsofarapid-changingsociety. Thedevelopmentoureducationalprogramsarebasedonthepursuitofhighest"teachingquality”and"learningexcellence”forthestudents.Buildingonthecentury-oldacademicexcellenceandwithfullunderstandingofourintrinsicvalues,apracticalintegrationofresources,andafocusonstrengtheningcharacterdevelopment,wehopetocreateaneweraforSoochowUniversity. SoochowUniversityisontheculturalaxisofTaipeiCity.NeartheNationalPalaceMuseum,amonglushgreenhillsandwithaclearstreamflowingby,theWaishuanghsiCampuspresentsaspectacularviewandoffersasuperiorstudyenvironment.OnthiscampusaretheSchoolofLiberalArts&SocialSciences,theSchoolofForeignLanguagesandCultures,theSchoolofScience,andtheSchoolofBigDataManagement.
