LearnabouttheDynamicsNAVchartofaccounts TofindtheChartofAccountsinDynamicsNAVsimplysearch‘ChartofAccounts’intheribbonandselectthefirstoption.TheChartofAccountsisbasicallyalistofaccountsthatareusedbymembersofthefinanceteamtorecordanytransactionsinacompany.Toaddanewaccount,select‘New’locatedintheribbon.Fillintherelevantfieldsfortheaccounttobecreatedsuchasnumber,name,whethertheaccountwillcorrespondwiththeincomestatementorbalancesheet,generalpostingtype,thegeneralbusinesspostingtypeandgeneralproductpostinggroup.Thensimplyclickon‘OK’onceyourinputofdataiscomplete.Nowyouraccounthasbeencreated. Ifyougobacktotheribbonandselect‘IndentChartofAccounts’,thenselect‘Yes’,youcannowseetheaccounthasbeenindented.YoucanalsoedittheChartofAccountsbyselectingtherelevantaccountandthenclick‘Edit’intheribbon.Youcaninputanychangesyouwishtomake.Youcanalsodeleteanaccountbyclicking‘Delete’intheribbon,howeveryoucannotdeleteanaccountwithtransactionsassociatedwithit.
