關羽得赤兔馬後狂喜，聲言此馬日行千里，便可早日找到大哥。

曹軍眾將驚駭，力諫曹操斬殺關羽，遭到曹操訓斥。

當天晚上，張遼再次拜訪關羽，轉告曹操胸懷大義，關羽再次聲明尋兄立場。

劉備在袁紹處也是終日苦惱，為長遠計，他力勸袁紹攻打曹操。

袁紹猶豫再三，終於決定進伐許昌。

田豐得知後，對袁紹慷慨進諫。

袁紹惱羞成怒，將田豐貶為馬役。

兩軍陣前，顏良相繼斬殺曹操兩員部將，曹操驚駭不已。

關羽主動向曹操請命出戰。

翌日，顏良被關羽斬於馬下。

袁軍大敗，敗兵訴說曹軍戰將貌似關羽，袁紹大怒，欲殺劉備以泄恨，劉備再三解釋袁紹方才作罷。

此時，田豐再次進諫，勸袁紹退兵，袁紹遷怒於他，將其下獄，斬監候。

陣前，關羽再次出戰，飛刀將文丑斬下。

劉備親眼看見旗上的「漢壽亭侯」。

歸營後，袁紹怒喝將劉備斬首。

劉備請求招降關羽以謝罪，袁紹大喜。

If only Yuan Shao expanded before cao cao did....cao cao would be jackshit. If only Liu Bei stayed until the end of the war with yuan shao and cao cao....Yuan Shao needed one thing that cao, liu and sun had but he was totally lacking....direction.

如果袁紹比曹操早擴展領土，曹操就悲催了。

袁紹嚴重地缺乏了一件曹、孫、劉都有的東西：方略。

Yuan Shao didn't need to expand anymore, he just needed to be a better leader. His troops were massivly larger than Cao Cao's. If he listened to his advisors, he would of beaten Cao Cao. Cao Cao himself said it all the time in the books and Guo Jia told him he had nothing to worry about, knowing Yuan Shao's character and his indecisive nature.

袁紹不需要拓展領土，他只需要做一個更好的領導。

他的軍隊比曹操的大了N倍 。

如果他聽信自己的謀士的話，他將會打敗曹操。

在書上，曹操總是這樣說，郭嘉也告訴他不用擔心，因為他知道袁紹猶豫不決的性格。

no wonder yuan shao looks doubtful person (since dong zhuo campaign), he so often to get mixed advise from his men , lol

怪不得袁紹在討伐董卓之後一直都是很迷惑的樣子。

他手下的人老是給他不同的意見。

They SHOULD be giving him mixed advice... the problem (as tends to be the case in depictions) was him solidly deciding upon a general course, much less being flexible in the details (see Tian Feng's bit about "even if you must do battle with Cao Cao").

他們*應該*給他不同的意見……問題是他不能明確的決定採取一個方略，也不能靈活地處理細節 （詳見田豐「就算你必須與曹操開戰」那段話）。

Yuan Shao is almost as bad as the Queen of Hearts. I think he just wants to see someone beheaded.

袁紹跟[《愛麗絲奇境歷險記》的]紅桃王后差不多。

At least Tian Feng was honest to the very end....I admired Xu You for his loyalty too, but his untimely end of drunkenly verbally abusing cao cao in front of one of cao caos biggest niggas...Xu Chu...5:28 MUSOU ATTACK!!!

至少田豐到死都敢直言……我其實也很敬佩許攸的忠心，不過他最後卻因在曹操的頭號猛男許褚面前醉罵曹操而死了……

If Liu Be I was successfully executed and Yuan Shao won the Battle(s) of Guandu. He surely would become the traitor to the Han, and just like they did with Cao Cao, plots of killing him would go into action. The reason why he would become the traitor to the court is because Liu Bei is the Imperial Uncle, meaning he is the Uncle of the Emperor, so Yuan Shao would be killing a man that is of royal lineage.

如果劉備真的被斬首，袁紹又贏了官渡之戰，袁紹將會成為下一個國賊。

然後就會有刺殺他的陰謀了，就像對付曹操的一樣。

他會成為漢賊的原因是，劉備是皇帝的叔叔，袁紹殺了他就等於殺了一個皇親國戚。

Had he killed LiuBei, yuan Shao would just have lost Guan Du sooner. It would only help Cao Cao to keep Yunchang

如果他殺了劉備，袁紹肯定會更早失去官渡，也會讓曹操繼續留著雲長。
