亮瞎高考閱卷老師的8組高分詞，用了英語寫作必須20+

不少高中生的寫作詞彙量還停留在小學和初中階段，你可以翻譯下面這句話，來自測一下你的寫作詞彙量處於什麼位置。

1. 這裡的風景非常漂亮。

2. 這個會議非常重要。

漂亮，重要，你最先想到的英文單詞是不是very beautiful和very important呢？如果是，那麼你就中標了，你的寫作詞彙庫需要馬上更新！

在寫作中，我們會頻繁地使用一些單詞，比如，good, important, because等。

但是，這些單詞都是初中學的，不夠分量，我們需要用高中所學到的一些高級詞彙來取代它們。

第1組：代替important的高級詞彙

〔簡單〕Education is very important.

〔高級〕Education is of much/vital/great importance.

〔簡單〕The work he does is very important.

〔高級〕The work he does is absolutely vital.

〔簡單〕A balanced diet is very important for us.

〔高級〕A balanced diet is absolutely essential for everyone.

〔簡單〕Money is the only thing that’s important to him.

〔高級〕Money is the only thing that matters to him.

〔簡單〕First impressions are very important.

〔高級〕First impressions really do count.

〔簡單〕Parents are important in children’s learning.

〔高級〕Parents play an important role/part in children’s learning.

〔簡單〕Children’s education is very important for Chinese parents.

〔高級〕Chinese parents attach much importance to children’s education.

〔簡單〕It’s very important for parents to be honest with their children.

〔高級〕It’s very vital/essential for parents to be honest with their children.

第2組：代替good的高級詞彙

〔簡單〕He is a good football player.

〔高級〕He is an amazing football player.

〔簡單〕This is a very good place.

〔高級〕This is a fantastic place, really beautiful.

〔簡單〕The view from my bedroom window was very good.

〔高級〕The view from my bedroom window was absolutely breathtaking.

〔簡單〕This is a very good opportunity to learn about American culture.

〔高級〕This is a unique opportunity to learn about American culture.

〔簡單〕The school's examination results were very good.

〔高級〕The school's examination results were very impressive.

〔簡單〕The food was very good and we had a wonderful night.

〔高級〕The food was superb and we had a wonderful night.（superb：傑出的，極好的）

〔簡單〕The staff are doing a good job.

〔高級〕The staff are doing a splendid job.（splendid：輝煌的，燦爛的，極好的）

〔簡單〕I can't stand him, but my wife thinks he’s very good.

〔高級〕I can't stand him, but my wife thinks he’s marvelous.（marvelous：非凡的，不可思議的）

〔簡單〕You look very good in that dress.

〔高級〕You look absolutely gorgeous in that dress!

第3組：代替cause/make的高級詞彙

〔簡單〕His actions could make him lose his job.

〔高級〕His actions could lead to him losinghis job.（lead to sb doing sth：導致某人做某事）

〔簡單〕The accident caused two passengers to die.

〔高級〕The accident resulted in the death of two passengers.

〔簡單〕There are several reasons for the strange phenomenon.

〔高級〕Several reasons may account for the strange phenomenon.（account for：對...做出解釋）

〔簡單〕The floods caused the deaths of over a hundred people.

〔高級〕The floods were responsible for the deaths of over a hundred people.

〔簡單〕Daily shaving can cause a number of skin problems.

〔高級〕Daily shaving can give rise to a number of skin problems.（give rise to：引起，導致）

〔簡單〕We are still dealing with problems caused by your mistake.

〔高級〕We are still dealing with problems resulting from your mistake.

第4組：代替because of的高級詞彙

〔簡單〕We've reached our goal because of your great help.

〔高級〕We've reached our goal, thanks to your great help.

〔簡單〕Because the money isn』t enough, the project will not continue next year.

〔高級〕Owing to a lack of funds, the project will not continue next year.

〔簡單〕Because of the pilots' strike, all flights have had to be cancelled.

〔高級〕As a result of the pilots' strike, all flights have had to be cancelled.

〔簡單〕The fishes in the river have died because of water pollution.

〔高級〕The fishes in the river have died as a consequence of water pollution.

〔簡單〕The restaurant's success was mainly because of its new manager.

〔高級〕The restaurant's success was due largely to its new manager.

第5組：代替very的高級詞彙

〔簡單〕Self-confidence is very important to our success.

〔高級〕Self-confidence is absolutely vital to our success.

〔簡單〕Earthquakes are very difficult to predict.

〔高級〕Earthquakes are extremely difficult to predict.

〔簡單〕His mother is a very successful politician.

〔高級〕His mother is a highly successful politician.

〔簡單〕His attitude very important to its success.

〔高級〕Its success will depend to a large extent on his attitude.（to a large extent：在很大程度上）

〔簡單〕She looks very beautiful tonight.

〔高級〕She looks extraordinarily beautiful tonight.（extraordinarily：非常，格外的）

〔簡單〕Conditions have improved a lot over the past few years

〔高級〕Conditions have improved considerably over the past few years.（considerably：相當，非常）

〔簡單〕Raising money for the homeless has been very difficult.

〔高級〕Raising money for the homeless has been incredibly difficult.（incredibly：難以置信地，很）

第6組：表達「對…有好處」的高級詞彙

〔簡單〕The visit to European universities will be good for us.

〔高級〕We will benefit greatly from the visit to European universities.

〔簡單〕We should work together to help the whole community.

〔高級〕We should worker together to benefit the whole community.

〔簡單〕A bit more exercise would be good for you.

〔高級〕A bit more exercise would do you good.

第7組：表達「對…壞處」的高級詞彙

〔簡單〕Modern farming is very bad for the countryside.

〔高級〕These chemicals have caused serious damage tothe environment.

〔簡單〕Smoking can be very bad for your health.

〔高級〕The school was completely destroyedin the fire.

〔簡單〕Alcohol and drugs were very bad for his career.

第8組：表示「大小多少」的高級詞彙

〔高級〕An increasing number of Americans are curious about Chinese culture.

〔簡單〕The shortage of teachers is a big problem.

〔高級〕The shortage of teachers poses a major problem.（poses a major problem：構成重大問題）

〔簡單〕We have made some small changes to the program.

〔高級〕We have made some minor changes to the program.（minor：較小的）

〔簡單〕Most of the students are short-sighted.
